These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Writeorium, a service operated by BookBildr LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using Writeorium, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Description of Service

Writeorium provides structured writing critiques designed to support student learning.

Writeorium:

Does not rewrite submitted texts
Does not assign grades
Does not replace teachers or formal academic instruction

Feedback is provided for educational purposes only.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

Writeorium accounts are intended to be created and managed by parents, guardians, or educators.

If you are under the age of 18, you may use Writeorium only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

If you are under 13 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must create and manage your account.

The adult account holder is responsible for:

Supervising use of the service
Ensuring compliance with these Terms
All activity associated with the account

By creating an account, you represent that you are either:

A parent, guardian, or authorized adult, or
Using the service with appropriate parental supervision.

3. Credits and Payments

Writeorium operates on a credit-based system.

One credit equals one submitted text.
Revised submissions require a separate credit.
Credits are non-refundable.
Credits do not expire unless otherwise stated.

Payments are securely processed through Stripe.

Writeorium and BookBildr LLC do not store payment information.

All purchases are final once completed.

4. No Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of the service, credits cannot be returned or refunded once purchased.

Users may try the available free critique before purchasing credits.

If a technical billing error occurs, please contact us and we will review the situation.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to submit:

Illegal content
Harmful, abusive, or defamatory material
Content that infringes intellectual property rights
Malicious code or attempts to disrupt the platform

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any text you submit.

By submitting content, you grant Writeorium a limited, non-exclusive license to process the text solely for the purpose of generating feedback.

We do not claim ownership of user-submitted writing.

All website content, branding, design elements, and materials provided by Writeorium remain the property of BookBildr LLC.

7. Educational Disclaimer

Writeorium provides automated and/or human critique intended to support writing development.

We do not guarantee:

Academic outcomes
Specific grades
Performance improvements

Users remain responsible for how feedback is interpreted and used.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BookBildr LLC shall not be liable for:

Indirect or consequential damages
Loss of academic standing
Decisions made based on provided feedback
Service interruptions or technical issues

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

9. Children and Parental Responsibility

Writeorium may be used by minors under appropriate adult supervision.

For users under 13 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and manage the account in accordance with applicable laws, including the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

We do not knowingly enter into contracts directly with minors.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service if these Terms are violated.

Users may discontinue use at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Florida.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
